PETALING JAYA: About 1,451 employees of Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB) will benefit from the newly opened KL Sentral industry vaccination centre (PPV), says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
The Transport Minister said the industry PPV would also benefit KTMB’s subsidiaries Multimodal Freight Sdn Bhd and KTM Distribution as well as 390 employees of ERL and ERL Maintenance Support Sdn Bhd.
“They are largely frontline staff who have yet to receive their first vaccine dose.
“The KTMB staff who will be vaccinated at this industry PPV are those stationed along its corridor from Tanjung Malim to Gemas.

شهدت ساحات المرآب في مطار كوالالمبور الدولي احتشاد عشرات العمال المهاجرين المتجهين إلى بلدانهم، وذلك في أثناء انتظار معالجة طلباتهم بحسب ما أكدته العديد من الصور التي نقلتها وسائل إعلام مختلفة.
المحامي، سي آر سيلفا، كان أحد الواصلين إلى مطار كوالالمبور الدولي مع محامٍ آخر وهو هاربال سينغ، بعد مشاهدة عدة مقاطع فيديو تظهر حشد المهاجرين في المطار.
وقال سيلفا إن العديد من العمال، ومعظمهم من بنغلاديش وإندونيسيا، وصلوا للانخراط في برنامج الحكومة لإعادة معالجة ملفاتهم، وما زالوا ينتظرون أن تتم معالجتهم

National track cycling ace Azizulhasni Awang led the way as the last batch of the Malaysian contingent, comprising athletes and officials from track cycling, diving and athletics, left for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics today.
The 10 individuals, including five athletes, left via Malaysia Airlines Flight MH070 from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 9.50am and are expected to arrive at the Narita International Airport at 6.05pm local time (5.05pm Malaysian time).
