This weekend, the mother found out about messages sent to her 10-year-old on the app. The mom says she realizes many will consider that too young of an age to have an account but considering the pandemic and remote learning, kids at her child’s school began relying on it to talk with each other.

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - The Gwinnett County Sheriff s Office said its Gang Task Unit arrested five suspects related to drug trafficking.
Police said Luis Alfonso Ramirez, Maverick Jassir Alegria, Xavier Jose Valente, Anthony Fred Croy and Mara Wilson were arrested on various drug-related charges.
Officials said an investigation led to apprehending the suspects at a residence on 6043 Rolling Way in Norcross.
Officials said investigators obtained a total of 15 felony warrants and misdemeanor warrants.
Trafficking and Child Exploitation Unit makes first arrests
Gwinnett County, Georgia (Gwinnett Daily Post) A new unit formed within the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office to tackle human trafficking and child exploitation has made its first two arrests.
The Trafficking and Child Exploitation, or TRACE, Unit which Sheriff Keybo Taylor established when he took office in January arrested Lawrenceville resident Junior Demas, 31, and Grayson resident Marcus Gamble, 30, last week.
Gamble was arrested Wednesday while Demas was arrested Thursday.
“TRACE was formed Jan. 1, by Sheriff Keybo Taylor to protect citizens, especially children, from violent criminal offenders and criminal organizations,” Sheriffs Office spokeswoman, Deputy Ashley Castiblanco said. “TRACE has assisted many other agencies in the last four months since its initiation, including assisting in the 2021 Super Bowl in Tampa, Fla., with a Human Trafficking operations. ATLANTA - Law enforcement in DeKalb County arrested two men suspected in a deadly Easter Sunday armed robbery on Buford Highway.
The DeKalb County Sheriff s Office said they arrested 17-year-old Lawrenceville man Bre On Harold Corbin and charged him in the murder case of 19-year-old Domingo Paco-Camacho and the robbery of Kevin Daniel Pano-Galvez on April 4 on Buford Highway.
Officials said both incidents occurred during a robbery involving a weapon, cash, cell phone and drugs.
Authorities arrested him during a traffic stop in Lawrenceville. Police said he is currently at DeKalb County Jail.
