Messenger KUWAIT CITY, May 9: Kuwait’s Ministry of Health on Sunday reported 10 new COVID-19 deaths, and 992 infections in the past 24 hours. Al-Sanad told KUNA that the total fatalities increased to 1,645, and the caseload to 285,068 since the beginning of the pandemic. He added that the total recoveries have reached 269,633 after 1,317 patients recovered from coronavirus today making the recovery rate 94.59 percent out of the conducted tests. Moreover, 13,790 patients in total are receiving health care, including 210 at intensive care units, he said. Messenger KUWAIT CITY, May 8: Kuwait’s Ministry of Health on Saturday reported 7 new COVID-19 deaths, and 1,095 infections in the past 24 hours. The Ministry’s spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad told KUNA that the total fatalities increased to 1,635, and the caseload to 284,076 since the beginning of the pandemic. He added that the total recoveries have reached 268,316after 1,399 patients recovered from coronavirus today making the recovery rate 94.4 percent out of the conducted tests. Moreover, 14,125 patients in total are receiving health care, including 210 at intensive care units, he said. Meanwhile, over the past 24 hours 7,747 tests were conducted, with infection rate 14.13 percent, making the total conducted tests 2,396,532, he added.
