KUWAIT CITY, Jan 10: The Kuwait Oil Company has activated the e-service and has opened a new website dedicated to contracts and tenders, indicating all bids will now be received online and not through the old method of accepting bids in sealed envelopes, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily has learned from senior oil sources that the service allows all stages submitting bids to be conducted electronically through the website, starting from the process of viewing the tenders, through to submitting and evaluated bids and ending with awarding the contracts, in addition to registering companies electronically.
The sources indicated the company has begun holding preliminary meetings in respect of tenders, practices and auctions electronically through a digital platform which has been dedicated for this purpose.

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 10: The Kuwait Society of Engineers and the Indian Embassy expressed to support the friendship and cooperation between them through specializations of common interest related to engineering affairs and accreditation mechanisms for practicing the profession.
The meeting was held by KSE President, Faisal Al-Atal with the Indian Ambassador Sibi George at the Society’s headquarters in the presence of board members Ali Mohseni and Majid Al-Mutairi, and the cultural and educational attaché at the Indian embassy, Dr. Vinod Gaikwad.

There are around 10,000 Indian engineers in Kuwait who practice their profession. During the meeting, a number of issues related to the accreditation of non-Kuwaiti engineers working in Kuwait were discussed.
