El Paso s biggest teacher unions and activists say schools in the El Paso Independent School District are not ready to reopen Monday for all students whose parents chose in-person learning. It s worth noting that we don t expect an increase in students on campus on Monday as all of the students whose families had indicated a wish to return to on-campus instruction have already been invited back. In other words, anyone who has wanted to come back is already back, El Paso Independent School District spokesman Gustavo Reveles said.
