Revised green list to go into effect from November 20: MoPH

As Qatar moves ahead with the gradual lifting of COVID-19 restrictions, it has been reviewing certain policies and measures to ensure the safety of all. Yesterday, the country announced a new Green List of countries (previously known as low-risk countries) to facilitate the quarantine policy and COVID-19 travel restrictions to people arriving in Qatar from these countries. The Ministry had announced earlier that this list would go into effect from November 15. However, this will now be changed. Today, the Ministry shared another important update according to which the new Green List will be implemented from midnight November 20, 2020. Taking into account the circumstances of existing travellers currently outside Qatar, it has been decided to postpone the new update of the green list of countries for the Coronavirus (COVED-19) until midnight November 20th instead of November 15th. pic.twitter.com/2rQ4fnNSwY وزارة الصحة العامة (@MOPHQatar) November 13, 2020
