La police locale de la zone Hekla a interrompu vendredi dernier un tournoi de jeux illégal avec une dizaine de participants à Edegem (province d’Anvers), indique-t-elle mercredi. Les agents ont saisi 26.500 euros en argent liquide.

Certains ont tenté de fuir mais la police a pu identifier et verbaliser tous les participants. Selon la police, les activités de jeux illégales se multiplient à la suite de la fermeture des casinos. La police locale a reçu l’appui de la Commission des jeux de hasard et de la police fédérale.

VALPARAISO â Just a couple of months after having no other option than to offer tents and sleeping bags to some of the area s homeless seeking shelter, Housing Opportunities has added a few more beds to provide more relief from the cold.
Ten beds, spaced and shielded appropriately to provide protection during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, have been set up on the lower level of the shelter at 2001 N. Calumet Ave., said Housing Opportunities CEO Jordan Stanfill.

NORWOOD, Ohio â Even though temperatures are hovering around freezing, some restaurants are still offering people the option to eat outside.
Taste of Belgium in Rookwood is offering indoor seating, but they also have a tent set up outside, which expands their capacity and lets people socially distance.
Their tent isn t a party tent you d see at a summer wedding, though, with open flaps. This tent almost looks like a greenhouse, and there are heaters set up inside it to keep customers warm.
