Sustainable Plastics talked with Jim Seward, senior vice president of research and development, technology and sustainability at LyondellBasell, about the company s efforts to address this issue and its ambitions for a circular economy for plastics.
Q: One of the more exciting announcements from LyondellBasell this year was the startup of the company s small-scale chemical recycling pilot plant, utilizing its MoReTec technology in Ferrara, Italy. Can you tell me more about it?
