The accident happened near on Holywell Road, near Trevornick Holiday Park, Newquay POLICE are appealing for witnesses after the driver of car suffered serious, potentially life-changing injuries following a collision with a wall. The accident happened on Holywell Road, near Trevornick Holiday Park, Newquay, at around 10.30pm last night, Wednesday 19 May. A silver Ford Focus collided with a wall with the male driver sustained serious, potentially life-changing injuries. The road was closed for nearly nine hours as a forensic investigation of the scene took place. Police thanked the public for their patience They said they would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision.
Three children were among five people taken to hospital after a crash that left a driver in a potentially life threatening condition. Emergency services were called at around 8.38am yesterday (Friday, May 14) following a crash on the A39 Wadebridge Bypass, where a black Jeep Renegade and a Renault Scenic had collided. The driver from the Jeep, along with the driver and three children from the Renault, were taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro by ambulance. The injuries of the driver of the Jeep were later described by police as potentially life threatening. Officers from the Devon and Cornwall’s Alliance Roads Policing Team joined officers from Wadebridge Police, along with a Forensic Collision Investigator and Scene of Crime Officer, for a full investigation of the scene.
