Cuban officials in Beijing met with Xia Jie, Vice President of the All-China Women s Federation; Liu Yuqin, Special Representative of the Chinese Government on Latin American Affairs, and female diplomats from Venezuela, among other guests. Xia referred to China s commitment to helping that population group overcome the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic, progress gender equality and constantly empower it.
