While we are done with 4 matches, the shoot was halted due to lockdown and now, the cyclone has destroyed our set,” producer Boney Kapoor had confirmed to Pinkvilla, adding that the damage has resulted in financial losses for the makers. Image Source: IANS May 20 : On May 17, cyclone Tauktae lashed several states including Maharashtra. Mumbai received heavy rains and gusty winds due to the cyclone that caused severe damage to property and claimed many lives in the country. Many film and TV serial sets have been damaged in the city and also in other places where they were shifted due to the lockdown in Maharashtra. The sets of Salman Khan s Tiger 3 and Ajay Devgn starrer Maidaan have been damaged by the cyclone.

  In a recent interview, the Humsafar star revealed that ever since Pakistani artists have been banned to work in India, she has hesitated to take on new projects across the border. She received various offers for digital projects, but she turned them down out of fear. However, she has decided to start working in India now and doesn’t want to let politics get in the way. “But I was scared and I have no shame in admitting it. FWICE wants Maharashtra Government to permit Bollywood to start shooting from June first week | Hindi Movie News

facebook Pintrest The Federation of Western India Cine Employees has sent yet another letter to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra requesting to allow permission to resume shooting films and television serials in Mumbai from the first week of June. FWICE President BN Tiwari told ETimes, We have asked the state to allow us to shoot as our members are facing financial crunch and even production houses are incurring additional expenditure by shifting the shoot to different locations. Several TV and film shootings that were happening in Goa had to return to Mumbai after a lockdown was announced there and are now considering other states. Tiwari added, We have assured the state government that we will shoot in a bio bubble but work needs to start, the industry is bleeding and we cannot take this anymore.
