Dana Loesch On How To Encourage Critical Thinking About Tough Topics
On this episode of The Federalist Radio Hour, conservative talk radio host Dana Loesch joins Culture Editor Emily Jashinsky to weigh in on the evolution of media and how to encourage viewers, readers, and listeners to critically think about the messages they encounter.
Loesch described how she’s seen conservative commentary become more interesting and thoughtful in recent years.
“There was a period of time where it sort of felt like the right was kind of in the red meat wilderness … where everybody was kind of saying the exact same thing … and now I feel like we’re getting out of that where people are really being very aggressive critical thinkers and really exploring issues in really thought-provoking ways,” Loesch said.

“So much about mission work is keeping the safety and security of those who are who are on the in the field, especially in places where it’s illegal just to share the gospel and to talk about their faith or to be a Christian community and so technology has enabled these communities these political dissidents and religious dissidents to communicate and share with one another,” Leamer explained.

“Part of what makes The Honor Project really magical is it’s a stranger recognizing a stranger from far away and honoring their names, saying their name, sharing it with the rest of the world, and giving a moment to remember that person,” Domenech said. “I think most people, most civilians, go into Memorial Day and they know what it means, they know how important it is, they appreciate the military, but they haven’t got a clue how to reach out to touch those families who have really lost someone and they don’t have a clue how to really appropriately honor those who sacrifice.”
