ISLAMABAD: Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood on Thursday made an important announcement regarding the resumption of regular classes at schools.
Taking to Twitter, the education minister announced that all schools will go back to regular 5 day classes from Monday March 1.
“Restrictions imposed in some major cities on schools to conduct staggered classes was only till Feb 28,” he added.
Shafqat Mehmood said that the announcement applies to every educational institution in the designated cities where restrictions had been imposed.
“Allah SWTs infinite mercy that we are returning to normal.”

SUKKUR (Dunya News) – Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mehmood on Saturday said that coronavirus pandemic has affected studies of students; however, primary and middle schools as well as all universities will reopen from February 1.
Talking to media persons in Sukkur, Shafqat Mehmood said that the country is suffering from high level of corruption because of personal interests and looting of past rulers. Now there is a Prime Minister in Pakistan whi is honest and no one can accuse him of any wrongdoing, he added.
ISLAMABAD: The government has delayed the return of students of nursery to 8th classes to schools till February 1.However, the ninth and 10th graders and college and university students will resume.
