Youth Empowerment : German Gov’t Offers Over Three Billion
Within the support Project for the Socio-Economic Resilience of Vulnerable Youth in the Far North, North and Adamawa Regions in Cameroon (PARSE), the Federal Republic of Germany through its Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) has accorded FCFA 3.275.000.000 to the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Civic Education (Minjec). The money is meant for the current phase two of the PARSE project. This was made known during the 4th ordinary session of the steering committee of the Socio-Economic Resilience Support Project of vulnerable young people of the Northern Regions of Cameroon. The session was chaired by the Minister of Youth Affairs and Civic Education, Mounouna Foutsou, yesterday, December 16, 2020 in Yaounde. Answering a question about the prospects for a settlement of the crisis in Donbass and about relations between Russia and Ukraine, Putin said that this largely depends on the Ukrainian authorities. All leaders, including Vladimir Zelenskyy, came to power under slogans of settlement and restoration. Yet, they fail to succeed. They start looking at radical nationalist forces, but nothing happens, they do not have enough political will to succeed. Nothing has been done in terms of a political settlement. Statements are voiced, but they are not going to fulfil the Minsk agreements - they raise questions about the need to revise them instead. Yet, these agreements have been approved by the UN, so they cannot be revised. A settlement is inevitable, the question is when. We support and will continue to support the Donbass, and we will even increase our support, Putin.

Projects can be, but are not limited to conferences, policy studies, dialogues, workshops, training, awareness-raising events, development of communication material, educational art work, and advocacy activities.
