The 2015 Nigerian election will come and go. But what will remain in the minds of Nigerians is the alliance between the corrupt forces in Nigerian polity and some clergymen. When the clergy worship other gods, the faith, religious, spiritual and moral injury inflicted on the Body of Christ is incalculable even though HIS words remain divine, eternal and the unity of HIS Body endures forever.
It is in the context of this un-holy alliance that we examined the visit of President Jonathan two weeks before the then February 2015 election to Bishop David Oyedepo of Winners Chapel, Ota western Nigeria. This falls in the context of President Jonathan’s now regular campaign strategy of using select clergymen as his campaign foot soldiers through the office of the CAN President-Mr. Oritsejafor.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Monday said it will comply with court orders on the Anambra governorship elections as stipulated in Section 287 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic.
