Niger: 1350 personnel deployed by FRSC to maintain traffic in Christmas festivities

The personnel are reportedly deployed on the highways to ensure free traffic flow during Christmas and New Year. Joel Dagwa, the FRSC Sector Commander signed the news on Monday, in Mianna. He added that the deployment adds 450 special marshals, 15 operation vehicles, three bikes, one heavy truck, and three ambulances to ensure smooth flow of traffic. Advertisement

Yuletide: FRSC deploys 2,452 personnel in Ogun

By Ige Adekunle Sango-Ota (Ogun), Dec.20, 2020 The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) command in Ogun, has deployed 2,452 personnel across the state to monitor and control gridlocks during the yuletide. Mr Ahmed Umar,the State FRSC Sector Commander, made this known on Sunday in an interview with newsmen in Ota. Umar said that 33 vehicles,ten motor bikes,seven ambulances and two towing trucks have been deployed for the exercise. The sector commander said that the personnel made up of of Regular and Special Marshals have been deployed to traffic prone areas and construction zones to ensure accident hitch-free yuletide. “The heavy presence of the FRSC officials would be felt across the state to monitor and control traffic jams so as to ensure sanity and check excesess of it’s during the festive season,”he said.
