In establishing the NETC, the governing body of many of Nebraska Public Media’s activities and services, the Nebraska Revised Statute 79-1316 addressed the matter of content on the service: (11) To review, or cause to be reviewed by a person designated by the commission, all programs presented on the network prior to broadcast or transmission to insure that the programs are suitable for viewing and listening.
