Photo provided by Save Sudbury Although not a federal matter, Algoma-Manitoulin-Kapuskasing MP Carol Hughes is weighing in on the restructuring of Laurentian University after it was announced Monday that over 80 staff and 69 programs are being cut. She is joined by fellow NDP MP Charlie Angus in condemning the cuts, stating the shocking dismemberment of Laurentian University’s programs and staff is a devastating blow to the people of Northern Ontario and Canada.
