John Fund: Change how we conduct elections — undecided NY congressional race shows what s wrong

A still-undecided congressional race in upstate New York has national implications because it lays bare just how the wholesale rewriting of election laws in 2020 was able to create chaos that undermines public confidence in voting.

Thank You, Mr President | Frontpagemag

As America says goodbye to President Trump, Democrats are doing what they do best: pushing forward, to the very last moment, with their four-year crusade to discredit, smear, and punish one of history’s truly great presidents. Having never given Mr. Trump so much as a moment of respite from their relentless torrent of defamatory lies, they have firmly secured their place in history as the pettiest, most lawless tyrants ever to defile our nation’s political landscape. Thus, it remains for the many millions of Americans who, with sober hearts and minds, are able to discern the monumental good that this president has done for the United States, to lay bare the magnitude of his accomplishments. At least three Ohio GOP congressmen will join Rep. Jim Jordan in objecting to Wednesday’s presidential vote count Sabrina Eaton, cleveland.com WASHINGTON, D.C. - At least four Ohio members of Congress will be among dozens of Republicans who challenge several states’ presidential electoral vote counts in a Wednesday joint session of Congress in hopes of swaying the results of the 2020 presidential election to incumbent Republican Donald Trump. Marietta’s Bill Johnson and Miami County’s Warren Davidson announced Tuesday that they’ll join Champaign County’s Jim Jordan and Holmes County’s Bob Gibbs in objecting to Congress’ acceptance of Electoral College votes from states including Georgia and Pennsylvania that backed Democratic President-elect Joe Biden in November’s election. Spokespeople for several other Ohio members of Congress declined to discuss their bosses’ plans, so further objections from Ohioans are possible.
