The Supreme Court upheld Arizona s anti-election fraud law
The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) has upheld the Arizona law that bans ballot harvesting, among other measures, to protect election integrity.
On Thursday, the SCOTUS ruled to uphold the anti-election fraud law that includes a policy to throw out votes cast by people in precincts in which they do not reside.
In a 6 to 3 decision, the high court ruled that states are able to pass laws that prevent voter fraud.
The law had been condemned by several left-wing voting rights groups, who argue they said would disenfranchise thousands of voters, NBC News reported.
