A mother and certified nurses assistant who moved to Pueblo in the fall has filed to run in Colorado s 3rd Congressional District Democratic primary, joining a crowded field of other individuals looking to unseat Rep. Lauren Boebert.
Susan Martinez has four children, three of whom still live with her, and is married to Jose, who came to Pueblo as a teenager. Martinez moved to Colorado in 2013, having previously lived in Florida.
One of Martinez s children is severely disabled and requires a high level of care, which has influenced her thoughts on policy and legislative matters. Until recently, the family lived in Colorado Springs, but in September they bought their forever home in Pueblo.

“The Young Rock” has everything you would expect a weeknight comedy show from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to include: a “pull yourself up by your bootstraps” origin story, an homage to the world of professional wrestling, and a tongue-in-cheek hint at his inevitable presidential run.
The premiere of the new series drew the largest audience for an NBC comedy in years. The show is set in the year 2032 during The Rock’s presidential campaign. In a series of sit-down interviews with actor Randall Park, who plays himself but as a future network news anchor, the candidate narrates as he weaves together stories from his childhood, teenage years, and college football days.
