He says cabinet has delayed decision to start trade with India.
A day earlier, Hammad Azhar had said Pakistan would import cotton and yarn from India.
Pakistan on Thursday dismissed normalisation of relations with India until New Delhi revokes its August 5, 2019, decision rescinding the special status of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The development comes after the federal cabinet rejected an Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) suggestion to import cotton yarn and sugar from India.

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has decided to reduce the prices of petroleum products in the country, a notification from the Finance Division in this regard said Wednesday.
The government has reduced the price of petrol by Rs1.50 per litre, high speed diesel by Rs3, kerosene by Rs1.55, and the rate of light diesel oil has been slashed by Rs1.56 per litre. The development comes after Federal Finance Minister Hammad Azhar had announced the government s decision to decrease the prices of petrol and diesel. This decision is not related to the ECC [meeting that took place] but the first decision we have taken, after consultations with the prime minister, is that we will reduce the prices of petrol and diesel, said Hammad Azhar during a news conference.

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Cabinet on Thursday rejected an Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) suggestion to import cotton yarn and sugar from India, sources said.
The decision to turn down the proposal was taken in a cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad, hours after Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari said cabinet will review the ECC s decisions related to trade with India.
Taking to Twitter, the minister had said it is only after the cabinet s approval that the decision will be considered approved by the government .

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said unless until India does not revisit its August 5,2019 decision to annex Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan could not normalise ties with its nuclear-armed neighbour.
The development comes after the federal cabinet rejected an Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) suggestion to import cotton yarn and sugar from India.
