Shadow Minister for Women and Education Tanya Plibersek was at yesterday s Canberra March 4 Justice rally, where she received a petition from tens of thousands of women demanding a range of actions including sexual harassment training for all MPs and their staff.
Plibersek says Scott Morrison continues to profoundly miss the point , after he commented that March 4 Justice protesters are lucky to not be met with bullets as they might be in other countries.
She s calling for an end to violence against women, and says the Government needs to stop treating violence against women as a political problems.
