Scholarship applications open SIDNEY The 2021 Community Foundation of Shelby County scholarship applications are now open at commfoun.com. The online applications are the gateway to 60 local scholarship funds awarding nearly $300,000. Some scholarships provide a one-time award, while others are renewable. “High school seniors, current college students and adults returning to school may qualify for one or more scholarships,” said Juli Smith, Community Foundation scholarships and grants administrator. “In addition to scholarships for those pursuing an Associates or Bachelors degree, we are again offering several scholarships for students enrolling in trade or technical schools. Shelby County residents have created these scholarships to help a wide range of students better afford an education.”
