HAMPTON, Va. President Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden thanked military members and their families during a stop at Joint Base Langley-Eustis Friday afternoon.
The Bidens landed at Langley Air Force Base, then headed into the 27th Fighter Squadron Hangar.
Speaking in between two F-22 Raptors, President Biden thanked military members for selfless service to our country.

President Joe Biden will travel to Oklahoma to mark the 100-year anniversary of the Tulsa Race Massacre, the White House announced Tuesday.
Biden will make the trip June 1, according to a statement from the White House. The Tulsa Race Massacre took place May 31-June 1 in 1921, seeing a mob of armed white residents attacking the prosperous black community of Greenwood. The event remains the worst incident of racial violence in American history, killing as many as 300 black residents and burning up to 1,200 homes.
Viola Fletcher, a 107-year-old survivor of the massacre, testified before Congress last week regarding her memory of the attack. Fletcher was seven years old at the time.

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Soldiers at Joint Base Langley-Eustis spent Sunday sprinting, scaling and shooting.
The men and women warriors were competing in the Mammoth Global Partners Military Battle Challenge, which continues a week full of events leading up to Memorial Day.
Donna Fontes, Director at 733d Force Support Division MWR said, This whole week is about Remembering the Fallen. We have Commander s Cup which is softball and volleyball and some gaming tournaments going on. Well have a retreat ceremony, we have the military battle challenge going on. It s also important for us to recognize our Gold Star families.
