Jennifer Muñoz balances child care, full-time work and her pursuit of a bachelor s degree from Metro State University Denver.
Jennifer Muñoz rises at 5:30 a.m., works a full-time job and then hits the books. In between cooking for her 12-year-old daughter, she studies for her bachelor’s degree. She was going to wait until her daughter was older to go back to school but the pandemic jolted her.

Muñoz is all “A’s” so far in her second semester, working toward a social work degree. It hasn’t been easy. A peer mentor from Metropolitan State University Denver checks on her weekly.

The order at issue said state law and Entergy’s rate tariff didn’t support a change Entergy wanted to make in rate calculation. The PSC order had the effect of preventing Entergy from collecting roughly $67 million disallowed in 2017. It wanted a “netting adjustment” to add the money in 2021, but the PSC held that was not allowed by a 4 percent cap on annual rate increases. That cap was part of an agreed plan that provided Entergy other benefits, such as a speedier regulatory process and the ability to get approval for putting various expenses in its rate base.
LITTLE ROCK – Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge has announced her new redistricting team. Former state senator, Doyle Webb, joins Rutledge’s senior staff as the redistricting director. Webb will lead the redistricting team made up of former state representatives Andy Davis and Col. Douglas House, U.S. Army, retired, who have been contracted as consultants.

I cannot think of a better trio of dedicated public servants to work on behalf of Arkansans and assist with the redistricting efforts.”
