CSTO countries discuss training of collective security forces Photo courtesy of TASS MOSCOW, 15 March (BelTA) – Consultations about the organization of joint training events for command and control bodies as well as units of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) collective security system forces in 2021 took place in the CSTO Joint Staff on 15 March using videoconference technologies, BelTA has learned. Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff, Major-General Anatoly Sidorov noted that the Central Asia region is the area where most of the efforts will be concentrated in 2021 as far as joint combat training is concerned. Participants of the videoconference meeting discussed the organization of a joint business game of the CSTO Secretariat, the CSTO Joint Staff, and operations groups of interested government agencies and ministries of the CSTO member states.
