Calling all canine swimmers, get your floaties ready. Castaway Bay in Lafayette will open the pool to dogs for three evenings in August, marking the 10th Annual Pooch Plunge.  The splash party, to be held from 5-8 p.m. on Aug. 10, 11 and 12, draws as many as 500 dogs each year, according to The Dog Park Association of Greater Lafayette.  Castaway Bay is located 601 Beck Lane, Lafayette, in Armstrong Park. Families are invited to sit back and watch their dogs have a blast splashing in the pool, available just for the dogs. No swimming for humans. Professional photographers are scheduled to be at the event.
