Aston Martin is gearing up for the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance by announcing the North American debut of the Valhalla as well as the introduction of an all-new model that will extend the company’s “performance credentials a step further.” While the automaker was coy on specifics, they released a teaser image which reveals the mystery model is the Valkyrie Roadster. The car will be unveiled on August 12th and look virtually identical to the coupe. However, it loses its roof and this should allow for an open air experience unlike anything else. Also Read:  Aston Martin is keeping details under wraps, but the standard Valkyrie has a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine that produces 1,000 hp (746 kW / 1014 PS) and 546 lb-ft (740 Nm) of torque. Those are some truly monumental figures, but they’re only half of the story as the model also features a hybrid system that contributes an additional 160 hp (119 kW / 162 PS) and 207 lb-ft (280 Nm) of torque.
