খুলনায় আরও ১৭ জনের মৃত্যু
খুলনায় গত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় করোনায় ও উপসর্গ নিয়ে আরও ১৭ জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। শনিবার সকাল ৮টা থেকে রোববার সকাল ৮টা পর্যন্ত ২৪ ঘণ্টায় তিন হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসাধীন অবস্থায় তাদের মৃত্যু হয়।

Fourteen people died of Covid-19 and three died with symptoms at three hospitals in Khulna in the last 24 hours till 8:00am today.
The three hospitals are Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH), Khulna General Hospital and Gazi Medical College Hospital.
Dr Suhas Ranjan Halder, resident medical officer and spokesperson of the Covid unit at Khulna Medical College Hospital, said that nine Covid-19 patients among 12 people at the unit died in 24 hours till this morning. And the rest had been suffering from coronavirus-like symptoms, the physician added.
The Covid-19 dedicated unit of the hospital has 130 beds, he added.
Among the 156, 91 were in Red Zone, 26 in Yellow Zone, 20 in high dependency unit and 19 were in intensive care unit, Dr Suhas also said.
Meanwhile, 42 new patients were admitted during the period while 41 returned home after recovering, he added.
On the other hand, results of 210 samples came out positive for coronavirus infection among the 554 samples tested in KMCH PCR lab during 24 hours till this morning, Principal Dr Mehedi Newaj said. Current positivity rate is 40.94 percent.
Among the positive patients, 174 are from Khulna, 25 from Bagerhat, seven from Jashore, one from Satkhira, two from Narail and one is from Pirojpur.
