UNC System Board of Governors Approves 4 New Trustees for UNC-CH
The UNC System Board of Governors approved several new trustees for UNC-Chapel Hill during its monthly full board meeting.
The university system leadership approved Rob Bryan III, Perrin Jones, Malcom Turner and Ramsey White on Thursday morning, adding them to the ranks of the Chapel Hill university’s Board of Trustees.
Bryan, Jones and White’s appointments were unanimously approved, while Turner’s candidacy had a separate vote. While some system governors expressed concerns about Turner’s current role as head of strategy and corporate development for the sports gambling site DraftKings, his appointment also passed with an 18-6 vote.

Graduate business schools have been up in arms trying to resolve the uphill task of imparting education remotely.
MBA aspirants turned ambivalent on pursuing their graduation in Management. One set of people believed in deferring their graduation plans until schools and universities opened classroom sessions. The other side made some pragmatic choices. As the economy nosedived and job opportunities tapered, some students decided to equip themselves with Management degrees in seeking greener employment pastures post MBA.

Although talks over a fourth direct payment are in-the-works, lawmakers have sounded the alarm over another stimulus check, insisting that the move would delay the Internal Revenue Service from pumping out other forms of relief, like the massive child tax credits that the agency confirmed would start going out in July.
