In total, the 2021 KVTC sponsorship support application requests reached nearly $29,100. The organization was unable to fully fund all regional sponsorship requests to its members this year. KVTC is excited to award sponsorships to local organizations who are helping KVTC promote the Kennebec Valley region as a destination place with their own marketing initiatives.

It is a 230-mile route from Popham Beach to Quebec City in Canada. The corridor also and extends 16 miles from Rt 201 in Maine and Quebec’s Route 173.
The Corridor follows along the Kennebec and Chaudiere River Valleys and was the region’s highway long before any highways as we know them now.

The Kennebec-Chaudiere Corridor traces the route taken through history and the culture. Visitors along the Kennebec-Chaudiere get to check out the recreational and scenic attractions.

GARDINER Elected officials agreed Wednesday to commit to donate $500,000 toward the Boys & Girls Clubs of Kennebec Valley for its new building over a period of several years.
The money would come from the city’s fund balance money the city already has on hand, similar to a savings account and from revenue from the Libby Hill Tax Increment Financing district. On the recommendation of District 1 City Councilor Terry Berry, it will paid out only when fundraising reaches $9.5 million.
