N.B. COVID-19 roundup: 11 new cases, entire province back to yellow
New Brunswick Public Health reported 11 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday more than half of them residents who are self-isolating outside New Brunswick, and the entire province is back at the yellow COVID alert level for the first time since mid-March.

The cases are split across three health zones:
3 cases in Zone 1 (Moncton region)
1 case in Zone 2 (Saint John region)
2 cases in Zone 3 (Fredericton region)
The source of the three cases in Moncton and one of the Fredericton-area cases are under investigation.
Six more cases have recovered since Saturday, leaving the active case number at 141 for a second consecutive day.
Ten New Brunswickers are in hospital battling the virus, only seven of which are currently in the province. Two patients are currently in intensive care units.
The province has now injected more than 41 per cent of those aged 16 years or older with at least one dose of the vaccine.

New Brunswick Public Health reported a total of six new cases of COVID-19 in three zones Sunday.
One case is related to travel, another was a contact of a previously confirmed case and the other cases are under investigation, Public Health said in a news release.
There are now 141 active cases in the province. New Brunswick reported its 41st COVID-related death on Saturday.
There have been 2,002 confirmed cases in New Brunswick and 1,819 recoveries.

Alberta is reporting 1,633 new COVID-19 cases and two additional deaths.
The new cases were identified from 15,509 tests, for a test-positivity rate of 10.3 per cent.
There are 668 people with COVID-19 in Alberta hospitals, with 155 patients in intensive care.
Variants of concern now make up 44.5 per cent of Alberta s active COVID-19 cases. -

Saskatchewan is setting May 30 as the target date for the first step of its COVID-19 Re-opening Roadmap.
An announcement from the province says restaurants and bars will open with a maximum of six to a table, distanced between other tables.
HALIFAX New Brunswick health officials are reporting six new COVID-19 cases Sunday, along with several exposure notifications. Three of the new cases are in the Moncton region (Zone 1) and involve two people in their 20s, and one in their 30s. All three are under investigation. One case is in the Saint John region (Zone 2) and involves a person in their 40s. They are a close contact of a previously confirmed case. Two cases are in the Fredericton Region (Zone 3) and involve a person in their 30s, and one in their 50s. One is related to travel, and the other is under investigation.
