Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar says that Venezuelans who fled their homeland to seek a better place in T&T are now returning to take their chances with the Maduro government as they’re seeing what happened in Venezuela under a dictatorial regime also happening in T&T.
Persad-Bissessar was addressing Monday night s UNC meeting saying T&T’s economy is in a tailspin and the Keith Rowley administration hasn’t shared plans with the public on the issue.
Moonilal: Diplomatic intervention needed for Trinis affected by vaccine bans

Opposition Oropouche East Member of Parliament Dr Roodal Moonilal is calling on the government to help T&T travellers who can’t visit certain countries due to COVID bans and due to their vaccination.
He said Bangladesh has banned T&T travellers and other countries aren’t accepting certain vaccines which T&T nationals have received and is calling for regional and international diplomacy to ensure nationals can visit such countries without problems.
Moonilal has Travel Pass ‘issues’ before CAL flight from Miami

Miami was nice T&T Travel Pass processing, not so much.
That’s the view of UNC MP Roodal Moonilal, speaking after arriving from Miami via a Caribbean Airlines flight yesterday and undergoing hours of uncertainty over whether his Travel Pass document for entry to Trinidad and Tobago had been confirmed or not.
