Join Gail Borden Public Library May 3-14 to celebrate BabyFest with story times, baby bounces and rhymes, a special program just for parents and a BabyFest Kit filled with fun for parents and babies. This fun-filled celebration includes:
• BabyFest Kit: Please register at gailborden.info/babyfest to receive your kit containing local information you can use, at home crafts for you and your baby, giveaways and a BINGO card! Pick yours up at the Main Branch, 270 N. Grove Ave., any time between Monday, May 3 and Friday, May 14. (Please note: Kits are only available to parents of children newborn to 18 months or expectant parents.)

She s always been there to sustain us, and she s been a source of comfort and peace especially during the pandemic, when outdoor pursuits such as gardening, hiking and biking helped keep us sane.
Earth Day is Thursday, April 22, and there are plenty of local events celebrations, concerts, educational programs, cleanups, workdays, recycling to mark the occasion.
