Tributes continued to pour in for the teen
The tragic accident occurred in the early hours of Wednesday morning on Ross Road near the Kerry tourist town of Killarney.
The death of the teenager sent shockwaves through Kerry, as people expressed their sadness and support for his family who are well-known and respected in the area.
Thomas and his friend had attended a gathering of car enthusiasts at a car park in Killarney town centre, having driven the 25-year-old Toyota Corolla the 14km from his home near the Gap of Dunloe.
