QUEENS, N.Y., June 3, 2021 /PRNewswire/ George Bell, Rohan Bolt and Gary Johnson, who were wrongfully convicted of a double murder in Queens and incarcerated for more than 24 years, were notified today that Queens District Attorney ( DA ) Melinda Katz has agreed to drop all charges and vacate their convictions on the grounds that newly discovered evidence probably would have led to their acquittal.

Massachusetts continues to be one of the leading states in the country when it comes to getting people vaccinated. Almost 3.5 million residents are now fully vaccinated, which is more than half the state.
As progress is being made, some mass vaccination sites will close and the state’s preregistration system will no longer accept sign ups but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Four states in New England are leading the country when it comes to getting their population vaccinated. Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maine and Vermont now have more than half of their total population fully vaccinated. The remaining New England states, New Hampshire and Rhode Island, have fully vaccinated at least half of their adult residents.
