College movies are a cinema staple, delivering those who attended college doses of nostalgia and those who didn t plenty of drama, comedy, and general mishaps to hold their interest. Films with college as the backdrop often focus on characters who are learning what it means to be an adult for the first time, and these stories rarely feature a smooth journey.

Stacker gathered popular college movies from IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes, pulling each film s audience-based IMDb rating and critic-based Rotten Tomatoes Tomatometer rating. All relevant movies were then ranked based on the Stacker Score metric, which weighs both the IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes measurements equally. Drama on One celebrates our colleague - poet, playwright, essayist, editor and producer Aidan Mathews who retired from RTÉ on Saturday, January 16th, after thirty-seven years of service.
Aidan began working in the Radio Centre in 1984, writing and producing drama and religious programmes.
In normal circumstances, like other good folk retiring from whatever occupation, we would have raised a glass and perhaps enjoyed a slice of cake with our friend.

A restaurantâs owners have been working long hours to help feed those in financial difficulty, with a little help from Norwich City goalkeeper Tim Krul.
Netherton Steakhouse in Long Stratton, started out giving away one free meal for every takeaway roast dinner sold through January, but co-owner Craig Grant, 34, realised that more could be done if he was willing to put in the hours.
âI worked out I could produce a nutritious and substantial meal for £2, covering various dishes, so I spoke to suppliers to negotiate prices for any excess stock they had.
