Bengaluru, Dec 19: Veteran Kannada film director and actor Boodal Krishnamurthy died at his residence here on Saturday after a prolonged illness. He was 71.
Boodal Krishnamurthy, born in Chitradurga in 1949, entered the film industry in 1973 with Siddalingaiah s son block blaster Bhootayyana Maga Ayyu .
Boodal Krishnamurthy also acted in films such as Professor, Sreegandha, Turishina Kunkuma, Prajasakti, Nirma, Aryabhata etc.
