A little over two-thirds of Americans oppose the idea of expanding the number of justices on the U.S. Supreme Court, according to a new poll.
The survey of over 1,100 U.S. registered voters was conducted by Mason-Dixon Polling & Strategy, Inc. and sponsored by the conservative legal nonprofit First Liberty Institute, which is devoted to protecting religious freedom rights.Â
The poll gauged the opinions of voters about the debate over adding seats to the nine-justice Supreme Court days after President Joe Biden established a commission to look into adding justices to the Supreme Court.Â

A new Mason-Dixon poll released Tuesday finds a majority of Florida voters approve of the job Gov. Ron DeSantis is doing.The survey of 625 voters found 53% approve of his job performance, while 42% disapprove and 5% were unsure. That number is down from a 62% approval rate in March 2019, but up from a 45% approval rate in July 2020.
The polling was broken down by regions. In the greater Tampa Bay region, DeSantis approval rating was 58%.

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) - According to a new poll by Mason-Dixon Polling and Strategy, voters in Mississippi oppose the U.S. Senate’s conviction of former President Donald Trump.
Additionally, voters approve of Governor Tate Reeves’s job performance and disapprove of newly elected President Joe Biden’s performance so far.
The Florida company conducted the poll from February 2 through February 5, 2021.
A total of 625 registered Mississippi voters were interviewed live by telephone statewide.
