The Kenora Catholic District School Board is looking at a deficit this school year.
The revised financial statements were given to trustees this week.
Superintendent of Business Services Allison Smith says they did get some money from the province to tackle extra expense due to COVID-19.
“The total expense on top of our budget is 1.9 million,” explains Smith.
“The board is funding 388 thousand from our accumulated surplus and the Ministry funding 1.9 million.
