THOUSANDS of pounds have been raised to help protect great crested newts. South Oxfordshire and the Vale of the White Horse District Councils have helped raised over £240,000 for great crested newts habitats. The funds have been raised over three years as part of a conservation scheme to protect the news which are a European protected species. These funds will help create ponds for the newts but also will help ensure that there is enough funding to monitor and manage newt habitats over the next 25 years. BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - South Mississippi supporters of President Donald Trump are not backing down from their beliefs about the election.
We spoke to several Trump supporters on Wednesday before protesters in Washington D.C. stormed the Capitol building, interrupting the process of certifying the election results.
At Port City Café in Biloxi where customers know they are welcome without wearing face masks, several tables of Trump supporters were eating lunch as Trump spoke at a rally near the Washington Monument. Many were willing to talk about their distrust of the presidential election results, but only one would on the record.
