CAUGHT ON CAMERA: 2 women assaulting Flint USPS worker
FLINT, Michigan (WNEM) Flint Police are investigating an assault involving a United States Postal Service worker.
Two women were caught on camera assaulting the worker in Flint. The video was then posted to social media.
The attack happened outside the River Village Apartments in Flint. Flint Police said the postal employee is in good condition.
In a press release, Flint Police said arrest warrants on two individuals will be presented to the Genesee County Prosecutor’s Office on April 9.
“We have met with the Flint Police detectives. I’ve requested further investigation with respect to this incident. There’s some things that were not included in the report, so they’re going to go back out and get us some additional information, and then we’ll make a charging decision,” Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton said.
Identity theft in Fenton
On Wednesday March 24, a Genesee County Sheriffâs deputy was dispatched to the 13000 block of Stonybrook Pass in Fenton Township for an identity theft report. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the victim, a 50-year-old Fenton Township man. He said he received a letter from the State of Michigan reference unemployment insurance. He said he has never applied for unemployment. This incident remains under investigation and was turned over to the State of Michigan for review.
Building materials stolen from The Landings subdivision
On Friday March 26, a Genesee County Sheriffâs deputy was dispatched to The Landings in Fenton Township for a larceny complaint. Upon arrival, the deputy met with the property developer who said he was notified by a resident that a suspicious vehicle was near his job site earlier that morning. The victim stated when he arrived, he noticed some of his building materials were missing. The items include an exterior doo
âA 69-year-old Bloomfield Township man, his 31-year-old son and a 32-year-old Waterford Township woman have been charged in Genesee County 67th District Court with conducting a criminal enterprise, forgery and obstruction of justice.
âThe three individuals are lawyers with the law firm, Fishman Group, in Bloomfield Hills, with additional offices in Florida and Colorado.
âCharged are Marc Allan Fishman, 69, of Bloomfield Township. He is president and CEO of Fishman Group. He was arraigned April 6 on one count of acquiring and maintaining a criminal enterprise and one count of obstruction of justice. He was lodged at the Genesee County Jail until his arraignment and released April 7 after posting $4,000 cash bond.
Police investigating attack on postal employee
FLINT, Michigan (WNEM) The Flint Police Department is investigating an assault involving a postal worker.
The incident was caught on video and circulated on social media. It happened on April 8 when the postal employee was delivering mail in River Village Apartments, Flint Police said.
“We are communicating with the United States Postal Inspector and will be working with the inspector throughout the investigation,” police said.
Police said they will present arrest warrants on two suspects to the Genesee County Prosecutor’s Office on April 9.
The postal employee is in good condition.
