Massachusetts Republicans are trying to raise money by shaming Democrats for allegedly jumping the COVID-19 vaccine line even though members of both major parties have received the vaccine under a federal allowance that refers to the importance of continuity of government operations.

WASHINGTON U.S. Sens. Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy and U.S. Rep. John Larson received their first doses of COVID-19 vaccine this weekend, joining the small, but growing number of Americans immunized against the coronavirus.
“When the Capitol Attending Physician made the vaccine available and my doctor recommended I get it, I rolled up my sleeve right away,” Blumenthal, 74, said on Twitter. “I trust this vaccine is safe and effective.”
Connecticut senators receive Pfizer s coronavirus vaccine

Both of Connecticut s senators announced this weekend that they received the Pfizer coronavirus vaccine.
Rep. Richard Blumenthal said on Twitter that he has looked to public health officials to inform him of his decisions since the pandemic begin. That s why, when the Capitol Attending Physician made the vaccine available and my doctor recommended it, I get it, Blumenthal says. I rolled up my sleeve right away. I trust this vaccine is safe and effective.
Rep. Christopher Murphy also took to Twitter, saying that the vaccine is safe, effective and it s going to save lives.
Senate Majority Leader McConnell gets Covid-19 vaccine
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell tweeted today that he received a safe, effective Covid-19 vaccine.
He went on to say that vaccines are how we beat this virus.
In the same tweet, McConnell mentioned the Covid stimulus package, including a lot more money for distribution so more Americans can receive it as fast as possible.
