That Fawcett Avenue Development in Tacoma–That’s 273 units per acre! If you did that in Laurelhurst @Talaris and saved 2/3 of the land for parks, you’d get 1638 units. You’d need to expand transit on Sand Point Way, but that would be great for the folks already using it, and the added frequency would bring in others.
Imagine that at Fort Lawton, with a third set aside for pedestrian, roads, open space, etc., with Discovery Park next door (6219 units!). The transit access would be stickier, but the 9K or so residents alone could support a couple routes.

Whenever he sees an online news article about alcohol and ax throwing, Matt Baysinger knows what the top comment will be.
