PA Man Found Dead on the Beach in Avalon Authorities are investigating the circumstances behind a man s body being found on the beach in Avalon Thursday morning. The Avalon Police Department says their officers responded to the beach at 80th Street around 7:15 AM Thursday after receiving a report of an unconscious man in the water. According to a press release, officers determined the man, identified as being 21-years-old and from Coatesville, PA, had been dead for several hours. Foul play is not suspected at this time, however, Avalon Police and the Cape May County Prosecutor s Office continue to investigating the incident.
