The survey will be used to help determine women and children’s needs in Cape Girardeau County.
State grant money will be used to address problem areas discovered in the survey.
Missouri receives funding from the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Bureau to improve the health of women and children.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - The Cape Girardeau County Health Department reported three new COVID-19 cases on April 23.
The county had a total of 9,423 cases, with 15 active and 134 deaths.
The health department also reported that 26.5% of the county had both doses of the vaccine, 1.4% more than the state and 1% less than the country.

CAPE GIRARDEAU COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - The Cape Girardeau County Public Health Center reported 10 more probable and confirmed COVID-19 cases on April 21.
To date, there have been 9,420 total cases and 134 deaths.
So far, 9,269 people have recovered.
There are 17 active cases in the county.
