On Thursday, Jamie Lee Moses, 21, together with three juveniles, aged between 15 and 17, appeared in the Bellville Magistrate s Court for the killing.
NPA spokesperson Eric Ntabazalila said the State would oppose bail owing to the seriousness of the charges.

The case of five people accused of the triple murder of the Brand family at Hartswater in the Northern Cape has been postponed to next year in the Local Magistrateâs Court.
Danie, Breggie and Elzabie Brand were attacked, kidnapped and murdered on their farm in the town in July this year. Their bodies and two cars were found about 30 kilometres from the farm.
The accused, Donald Seolesang, Tshepo Visagie, Realeboga Manyedi, Kgomotoso Mpumlwana, and Tshepaone Melato are charged with three counts of murder, kidnapping and robbery.
Northern Cape National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson, Mojalefa Senokotsoane, says the case has been postponed to January 7.
Foster father gets 50 years for raping two girls

Cape Town â The Worcester Regional Court has sentenced a 65-year-old foster father to 50 yearsâ imprisonment for the rape of two minor girls.
Earlier, the court convicted Charles Stevens for the rape of two girls, aged 11 and 12.
The regional court sitting in Montague sentenced him to 25 yearsâ imprisonment for each rape count. The court ordered the sentences to run concurrently,â Western Cape National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson Eric Ntabazalila said in a statement on Thursday.
ââThe two cousins were removed from their biological parents due to socio-economic conditions of the parents and neglect. They were placed in the foster care of Stevens and his wife.
