CAPE TOWN The National Prosecuting Authority on Wednesday said a man accused of starting a fire on the slopes of Devil s Peak could not be linked to arson.

CAPE TOWN - Camps Bay police have arrested two suspected drug dealers and confiscated illegal drugs worth R250,000.
Officers raided the suspects’ Brighton Court flat on Monday and the duo was expected to appear in the Cape Town Magistrates Court on Tuesday on charges of possession with intent to deal drugs.

CAPE TOWN - Three suspected underworld figures have been granted bail in Cape Town after they were charged with the murder of alleged steroid smuggler, Brian Wainstein.
Mark Lifman, Jerome Booysen and William Stevens appeared in the Cape Town Magistrates Court on Tuesday and were released after having paid R100,000 bail each.
The trio face charges of murder, conspiracy to commit murder and money laundering.
