WILMINGTON – Cape Fear Public Utility Authority is temporarily closing its customer service center after several staff members were placed on leave, partly due to Covid-19 exposure.
The office will close at 2 p.m. and remain closed through at least Tuesday. The authority will announce on its
website when it has reopened.

On Jan. 4 customer service centers at 235 Government Center Dr. and 305 Chestnut St. will reopen at 8 a.m. by phone and 9 a.m. for walk-ins.
